01. Who are you ?
I started electronic music in 2008 under the nickname « Pix » and released 4 albums on the net label Fresh Poulp. These albums are mainly Abstract Hip hop. The project is then described by a Hip-Hop style powered by MPC. Today under the name of Laboreal I explore a universe bringing together ambient, down-tempo, electronic music but also film music in different styles.

This universe is also enriched with classical music and contemplative music. Artistically, it is a deep desire to be able to create from sometimes diametrically opposed influences. Because I do this artistic work with a certain thoroughness, I still spend a lot of time perfecting my methods to achieve the desired composition. I see this project as a sound research laboratory whose purpose is to bring emotions and feelings to life through the possibilities offered by today’s electronic music. It’s a very clear orientation towards sound identity & musical design.

I collaborate with acoustic musicians, singers, composers and artistic directors. We can add that I work with Laurent Wolf on vibratory and musical frequencies. I joined TFTC in 2017 after releasing my EP ‘A MinimA’. Today I produce « ambient » textures on my own label Deltawaverecords. I also produce instrumentals for the Angevin group “Exop”. 02. What are you listening actually ?
Honestly, very little musical inspiration at the moment. I am mainly inspired by my emotions. It’s strange, but I feel much less of the need to listen to music. I try to express my feelings as honestly as possible at the moment.

3. How you came to music ?
Bonobo / Anticon label / Alternative rap brought me to electronic music and
ambient. I opened up to techno later. I have fun composing for all types of media. This is what I like most about electronic music.

4. What gear do you use in studio/live ?
Ableton live 10 / synth : Korg minilogue / Prophet 08

5. Have you got an anecdote or a special memory to tell us about your music ?
Yes last year I had the chance to play on a big stage at the thiliacum festival. It was an amazing experience.

6. Which artist would you dream of working with?
David august, Christian loffler, Nicolas Jaar, Rone …

7. What are your plans for the future?
Working for editing video and collab with other artist.
