01. Who are you ?
I am a producer and live performer from a small town in France.

I’ve been playing for more than 15 years in rock bands first and then, in different electronic music projects. I was also VJ during 3 years and I illustrated hundred of techno nights in Switzerland with video performance.

I am the owner of two labels : Apnea dedicated to dub techno and deep tech, and Mare Nostrum specialized in ambient. I also write and arrange tracks for local artists in France, and teache home studio and electronic music courses.

02. What are you listening actually ?
I am very eclectic in my music tastes : my favorite bands are Depeche Mode, Air, Massive Attack, Archive…

These last weeks, I listened a lot the new Faithless album and the last album of a french band Aaron.

I am listening a ton of ambient and deep music throught playlists, and I love Hammock, Nils Frahm, Kiasmos, Apparat, Thylacine, RY X…

3. How you came to music ?
I think it came naturally : my parents didn’t play instruments, but listened so many music. I wanted to know more and how the music works, how we write a track, etc.

I began to write music with friends, and my first rock-metal band was born that way.

4. What gear do you use in studio/live ?
I use many things, but especially Ableton Live to write music and Logic to mix and master tracks. I recently bought a Push, I love it !

I also use a Korg Minilogue, Maschine for beats, and sometimes a Blofeld or an Elektron Analog 4 MK1. I also use virtual instruments, as Massive, Reaktor, Omnisphere, Serum, etc.

5. Have you got an anecdote or a special memory to tell us about your music ?
Ten years ago, I played on a big festival in France, with my electro-rock band Proyas. It was awesome : big stage, incredible sound and thousand people on front of you, it’s just an unique feeling !

6. Which artist would you dream of working with?
It’s very difficult to answer to this question : I love the voice of Dave Gahan from Depeche Mode, I love the piano of Olafur Arnalds… I would like to work with all these artists who inspired me.

7. What are your plans for the future?
I would like to release some new EPs during 2021 in deep musical genres. I want also to improve the way I am writing ambient music.

And I plan to organize some sound baths during next summer (if it is possible).
